Preservation Tree Care values education and being the top qualified professionals in the industry. We pride ourselves in growing our team members in their career, by developing them personally and professionally. We have 8 Certified Arborists on staff, four Traq Certified Arborists and 5 Qualified Supervisors trained in Plant Health Care on our team. This is through our educational stipend that we have been able to achieve this.

The Job

Full-time: Four 10-hour shifts
Pay: $19.00 – $42.00 per hour

  • QS or CO a plus but not required. Willingness to get your QS, forestry and turf.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist climbers and crew leaders working on the ground and aloft
  • Operate and maintain chippers, chainsaws, and all other equipment safely
  • Assist with driving, backing, dumping, and parking duties
  • Learn and demonstrate high safety standards, sound tree risk assessment skills, equipment inspection skills, proper pruning and rigging skills, and implementation of tree felling procedures
  • Responsible for carrying out other duties as assigned by the Crew Leader or designated supervisor, Arborist Representative, or Local Manager

Pay: $80K-$90K Annually
Starting salary based on experience plus benefits. 

The Job
  • Sales prospecting, using strong consultative selling techniques to build strong relationships and close the deal.
  • Using CRM package to track client interactions.
  • Complete understanding of PHC and tree pruning and removal sales.
  • Drafting work orders and instruction crew on job specifics.

Qualifications and Traits
  • ISA Certified Arborist or ability to obtain within 60 days of hiring.
  • Tree care and Plant Healthcare experience preferred.
  • SingleOps use a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in green industry or related field.
  • Experience in consultative sales, generation new business and networking.
  • Excellent communicator – Open and honest communicator, accountable, detail oriented, passionate, confident and fun
  • Able to build relationships with internal and external clients

  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
